ScavengeTech proprietary simulation software
provides a standardized, highly sophisticated
method to analyze and diagnose engine
and/or turbocharger operating problems. By
using this suite of engineering diagnostic
software tools, computer models of specific
engine systems can be developed for analysis.

ANALYSIS
SOLUTIONS
After the engine system is modeled, the
software suite provides the tools needed to:
 | | Match a turbocharger to an engine |
| | |
 | | Parametrically simulate engine operation |
| | over a wide range of conditions
|
 | | Calculate hard-to-measure parameters, |
| | such as in-cylinder temperatures
|
Once an engine system is properly modeled,
problems can be easily identified and solutions
developed to lower the life cycle costs of
legacy engines.
For example, field engineers often assume the
turbocharger is the cause of operating
problems. However that is not always the case.
In one instance, ScavengeTech engineers
used their suite of engineering diagnostic tools
to determine that the exact problem was low
airflow due to port carboning and not the
turbocharger. This analysis saved the
operating company considerable time and
money by not pulling the turbocharger and
sending it in for overhaul.
Short Courses
ScavengeTech provides on-site short courses and training in
